Beauty & Fashion | Be SUBTLY Festive For St.Patrick's Day With These Tips

I know that a lot of people love to put themselves out there and be festive; that means a well-spent trip to the dollar store getting beer goggles, green hats, beaded necklaces, hair bows, beer mugs, along with a bright green outfit from head to toe. But I also know a lot of people who don't like to go all out- and this post is just a few suggestions on how to subtly be festive, for all of my more reserved readers.

1) For the no-fuss kind of girl, a coat of green nail polish - Nail polish is a godsend when it comes to subtly accessorizing our outfits, especially in this case. If you don't feel like dressing up at all, this can definitely help you get the message across. Also, if you are staying home or maybe only seeing a couple of friends, nail polish is a must. This nail polish is Essie's nail polish in Pretty Edgy.

2) For the make-up junkie, a green eyeliner - This technique is perfect if your the girl who loves to indulge in make-up and make-up trends. The best thing is, you can easily mix your own DIY liner from scratch; a little bit of green eye shadow in the color of your choice plus a tiny bit of water or Vaseline, and you can achieve a nice sharp line on your lid with your eyeliner brush. This eyeliner here is Sephora's Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner in 5 Green.

3) For the fashionista, a bold piece of green statement-jewelry - This, paired with a plain white tee (or light colored sweatshirt if you live in a cold climate) plus dark wash jeans is a simple combination that lets the jewelry take center stage, and makes you look festive without you even really trying. This necklace below is from Etsy.com.

I hope this helps you, whether you have been celebrating all day or are going out tonight!
