Fashion | How To Tighten Sunglasses To A Small Face

PLEASE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT ME BY CHECKING OUT MY NEW WEBSITE, KAYLEESLATER.BLOGSPOT.CA

Since I have a very small face, it's easy for sunglasses to be way too big on me. If you have the same problem, you probably know how frustrating it can get; whenever you look down or turn your head too quickly, you almost lose them!

After analyzing the design of my glasses, I came up with a quick and inexpensive way to tighten them. This tip is completely undetectable when in use, and is also not a huge commitment in case you need to revert them back to normal. To tighten your glasses, read below:

1.Make sure your glasses have a design similar to this. If your glasses have a small metal mechanism instead of this simple chunky design, the tightening will not work. If you have this design, you can move on to the next step.

2. Purchase some duct tape in the same colour as your glasses. Personally I didn't mind the grey duct tape on my glasses, but if you want this to look completely inconspicuous, then the colour coordination will be best for you.

3. Cut your duct tape to fit the rectangular space at the end of your glass arms; this will be the end that is connected to the lenses.  For minor tightening, cut one for each side; for really big glasses, cut two or three per arm.

4. Fit the rectangles on the end of the sunglasses' arms. Make sure to trim your tape so there is none hanging over the edge.

The placement of the tape will interfere with the full extension of the glasses' arms, thus tightening them. Make sure to keep trying them on and adjusting until they are right for you.

Hopefully this brilliant epiphany of mine has helped you get the right fit for you glasses! Please feel free to share this if you know someone with the same problem! Thanks so much for reading.

Luck & Love,
Kaylee Slater
