Beauty | DIY Coffee Body Scrub For Treatment Of Cellulite

In the past 60 years, cellulite has gone from an accepted womanly trait to a shameful and horrible occurance in the females' body. The fact of the matter is, regardless of your size and weight, everyone will eventually have cellulite at some point in their lives. If you feel self-conscious about yours, there are a few solutions that you can look into. Today I am going to be showing you how to create your own very inexpensive and deliciously-scented DIY coffee scrub, and the benefits that accompany it.

The caffeine and antioxidants in coffee have been proven to mitigate the appearance of cellulite in the user for the short-term. The caffeine in coffee works to help dilate the blood vessels, temporarily tightening and toning the tissue. Caffeine also increases circulation and is effective in reducing water retention, which will help smooth the look of the affected area. The antioxidants in coffee are brilliant at releasing the toxins in your skin, which isn't only helpful for your cellulite, but it's also great for healthy skin in general.

Also included in this recipe is the use of cinnamon, which is known to plump up the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The sugar will help to exfoliate the affected area, making it look brighter and more youthful. Olive oil is also included, which will help prevent dehydration from the mechanical exfoliation from the sugar.

Decadent & Delicious Caffeine Body Scrub:

1/2 cup fresh coffee grounds
1/2 cup white granulated sugar (or brown sugar, for sensitive skin)
Olive oil (add as much as you need in order to get a paste-like consistency)
A dash of cinnamon

To use, wet your skin and massage the product into the affected areas on your body. Personally, I like to use this on my entire body since it leaves my skin soft and supple. For the treatment of cellulite, massage into the skin for roughly 3-5 minutes, and then rinse off. If you have oily skin, you can follow up with a light body wash in order to wash away the residue from the olive oil.

If this recipe has worked for you, or you know of any other tips to aid in the fight against cellulite, please feel free to post them below! Thank you everyone for reading, and I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Luck & Love,
