Fashion | Cuchini: How To Fix Camel Toe

Ah yes, most of us women have all been there. Camel toe occurs when a woman's lady parts are restricted by tight clothing, causing the area to resemble the look of a camel's toe. This usually happens when trousers, pants, jeans, or even bikinis are pulled up too high or too tight, causing the seam in the clothing to create a division. As awkward and strange as this topic is, it is a seriously real problem for some women; so today I will be teaching you a few ways in order to get rid of this problem once and for all!

#1. The Emergency Fix
This fix is for when the camel toe catches you off guard. For example, if you are at a meeting or on a date and realize "Oh my god, am I that girl right now?!". The quickest, cheapest, and easiest way to get rid of this problem on-the-go is to get yourself to a bathroom as soon as possible. Once in a stall, start to wrap some toilet paper around your three center fingers. The thickness of the roll depends on the degree of the problem and your attire; if the camel toe is very bad with a dense material such as jeans, you want to go much thicker with your roll (approximately 12 two-ply squares). If you are wearing much thinner pants, such as fabric pants, try opting for a thinner roll (approximately 6 two-ply squares). Then, flatten the toilet paper and insert it into your underwear. And yes, I did just measure out the squares of toilet paper for you myself at my computer table.

#2. The Short-Term Fix
If you have just discovered that you have camel toe, say at home or your girlfriends house, you will have a much better time concealing this problem than in the above situation. If you realize you have this problem, ask your hostess quietly if you may borrow some of her feminine hygiene products.Once in the bathroom, insert a pad into your underwear and the problem is fixed. The thickness of the pad again depends on the severity of the problem; thick for jeans, medium for thinner pants, and if you are swimming, a pantyliner for swim bottoms (just don't loose it in the water!)

#3. The Long-Term Fix:
If you are prone to camel toe in your clothing more than the usual woman, or you want to be covered at all times in any of these situations, there is a great long term fix for all women. I recently discovered the Cuchini, a small insert you put into your underwear that instantly fixes camel toe, both severe and minor. The insert has a small bump in the center, as you can see, to combat the camel toe very efficiently. This insert is meant to be adhered into your underwear with fashion tape, but I find the 'environment' in which it is used is tight enough that it is unneeded (although very important if being used in swimwear!). It is also washable, which saves you money unlike the short-term fix options. Carry it in your purse at all times to avoid surprises!

Let me know if these fixes are helpful, and if you have ever used these techniques before! To purchase the Cuchini, visit their website at www.cuchini.com.

  5. I've also found cosmetic sponges/ wedges to be useful when I'm in a hurry. They're similar in shape to the Cuchini & disposable.
